Frank, I found this a very sensual poem, and original in its whimsical
professorial yet passionate tone. The 'undercurrent of a poem' is
well-imaged, and plays with my mind deliciously - those fish conversations,
all swirl and tail and glide....And "barely faint" - great phrase.

I would mmmmmmm prefer "tailwag" to "wagtail" with its bird connection?
Can you get red sparklers? Where from? I want one, I want one, I waaaannnnt
one! Philip
