That's an interesting reaction. Actually, don't you think that if an author
states that a poem isn't about something, the thought is put into the reader's
head that's what it is really about ? Rather like: The jury will disregard
that last comment --when, in reality, they can't forget what they've heard. >>

I think you did splendidly with the form; I just don't care for it much. I
have read too many poems like this recently. What you had to say was
authentic and touched me.
