A Mission
Shall I zoom to the far off land,
where lie scattered
topics of poetry - in protest;
like those stars in conference
complaining about the sun?
A scientist explained 'feelings'
on the basis of matter:
a star is a gaseous nebula,
with no life, water, or oxygen -
and a poet had supported the view.
Shall I zoom to the far off land
of moons and galaxies, where
lies the poet - silent and imprisoned?
I may retrieve the words, weak
with fear; clichés included.
