This is interesting James: I dont actually know what I think! (and that is
actually very unusual) I'm not sure about the word 'contention' in line ten
- are you saying that a chair is such a necessary thing to people that at
times we completely forget the chair is there, exist without it almost? Or
are you saying something else that I havent understood?
I wonder who made the first chair and when. A chair is a very high form of
human artefact - like a shoe?
