CS, a couple of thoughts. I wonder if you could replace some pronouns with
non-pronouns. Seems to be to many she's, esp after the daughter!
money was as important for her as
giving company to a lonely daughter.
I would like more definition to the above, an example perhaps, same for
something lacking in her below
Her man loved her and then left –
had found something lacking in her –
The she/her below would be the mother, but we could be confused as to
whether it could be daughter
but then she was not sure of her role
in another marriage, home, or affair.
