Ah, you've reminded me of my childhood. Outside the town where I then lived
there were long low roofed sheds in fields for "forcing rhubarb." I once
even tried to get Betchemanesque about it:
"By the rhubarb fields of Castleford
my love and I did meet..."
Nothing came of it, tho -
And I've strawberries for tea tonight! Yeh!!!!
