Yep, and the useful point of critique that touches on the 'telliness'
aspects of a poem is not to suggest they are wrongly included, but to make
the poet consider carefully if he/she really needs to have them there - do
they serve the poets purpose, without adverse imapct on the reader... blah
blah
Really, that is the purpose of all critique in my view - make the poet think
carefully about the aptness of the word or phrase.
