Hi you two,
I can´t resist stepping into this little conversation to mention just how cold it can be in good old famous Finland. The coldest I´ve experienced here was - 36c. At that temperature the water from your eyes freezes instantly on your eyelashes. Blink carelessly and your eyes freeze shut which is what happened to me in the high street. I felt such a fool. Finns, of course, know the right way to blink in cold weather which must be one of the least known skills.

Keep warm, Mike

Yes, indeedy, Arthur, there's no doubt about it - we're a feeble lot down
here. Mercifully, I've still got the thermals from Finland. Now that was
what I'd call cold... brrrrrr... enough to freeze the hair on a Yorkshire
chest:-)
