David,

I like the first line but I think that the rest of S1 and some other parts
poem need a little work. Jupiter absorbed the HB comet, but chewing
mountains? gathering planets? an infant sun? If we travelled out in space
faster than light we could see the past, but the future? I suppose if you
went fast enough for long enough the rest of the world would be ahead by a
small amount of time and so in this sense, you would have moved into the
future if you returned to base. The closed universe (moving in a straight
line brings you back to the beginning) is still a theory, isn't it, though I
could be out of date. I suppose my over-riding impression is not that this
poem digs deep or reaches far but that it doesn't go far enough. Good topic
though and I hope you will mine it for all its worth.
