and you're also completely in agreement about the necessity for a patriotic
war...so if everyone is completely in agreement about this, please don't ask
me to fight in this patriotic war because (in about 4 weeks time) I am
leaving the UK, hopefully for good. I don't want to live in a country that
has learnt nothing from the very bitter experiences it had to go through in
its Imperial and Post-Colonial epochs. What you object isn't rudeness, it's
the very idea that some of the nonsense posted on this list was opposed with
real arguments. To you that is rudeness. I hope that some of the people
who posted some of the utterly insane warmongering nonsense to this list,
someday see with their own eyes some of the things they advoctated be done.
The US is contriving a war against an enemy it funded, using a minority
group in the region which is being oppressed by their ally Turkey, propping
up unpleasant ! regimes, rogue states, and creating all sorts of nonsensical
Newspeak too. We have a Prime Minister who is a palpable idiot associating
with a US dictator who was elected via an electoral college system which was
installed at the very beginnings of the US as a safety valve which would
ensure that no 'outsider' to the 'natural' leaders of the US would ever get
into power, no woman and definitely no 'niggers'. Any sophisticated person
can see that Bush is a moron, the kind of D grade student who flogged 2nd
hand watches at the school gates. I have the same sort of feeling about
people like Sue and Tammara and Arthur and you. Since I consider myself to
be a sophisticated person I don't think my presence on this list is any
longer appropriate.
