But cynical about what? The first time I read it I thought it was a
political piece. But it doesn't have to be political. It could be an
exploration of the distorted thinking of a sociopath. That's not to say that
you hadn't considered this possibility, or that it defines the poem, only
that I hadn't considered it at first.
?I want a jury made up of all men
becomes
I want a jury just made up of men
or
I want the jury composed of men
or
I want a jury entirely of men
