All,
There is now a Classic Starlink software nightly build on saturn.
Until the stuff is in cvs you can drop new sources in /classic on saturn,
anyone with cvs access can do this. There are some filename restrictions for
the source files, they should look like:
packagename.tar (example, autoastrom.tar)
Do not include version numbers or compress the tar file. packagename is the
standard Starlink package name.
Also there is a test ISO for the distribution of /stardev at:
ftp://ftp2.starlink.ac.uk/classic
This has both binary and source, when installed will create a stardev. It
installs just like a normal Starlink CD.
The nightly build will generate this automatically, along with the binary
only CD (in the fullness of time). I may make an official public release of
the /stardev CD next time. Note, it was built under /stardev not /star.
Steve.
