Al,
I used a tool called jhelpdev (see http://www.mk-home.de/) to generate the
JavaHelp from our html docs. It is a GUI tool, so it's not fully automated.
I could add a command line interface to the program for full automation.
The applet is from the JavaHelp demos.
The main thing I was looking at was merging the documentation in STARJAVA
(complete with a full text search), but replacing the horrid findme and
showme in HTX wouldn't be too hard. Having all the Starlink documentation
under JavaHelp would remove the problem of having to support the ever
increasing number of web browsers and versions. We could just include the
JavaHelp viewer supplied with JavaHelp.
Steve.

Okay, this looks very good. How did you go about doing this? Presumably
this is (almost?) entirely automated?
Cheers,
Al.
