What do you mean by "rebuild completely from source"? I thought I *had*
rebuilt completely from scratch. What I did was "mk export_source" in all
sub-dirs of /star/sources on rlspc10 (/star and /stardev-rh9 both link to
the same place), copy the tarballs to my shiney new rh9 machine, and then
rebuild from scratch (using the master makefile in /star/sources). Got as
far as kappa before it fell over with the __ctype_b message. The undefined
references were in ndg1_wild.c which as far as I can see does not use any
pre-built stuff - other than system libraries of course.
I did an "up2date" - which updated glibc to 2.3.2-27.9, and then re-built
again from scratch. This didn't fix the problem.
