These experiments are based on our previous psychophysical and ERP research
on subliminal perception. In a new series of fMRI experiments we are
especially interested in changes in effective connectivity in subliminal
perception. The project will take place together with Christian Büchel at
the Neuroimaging Centre in Hamburg, which is a joint effort of the
universities of Hamburg, Kiel and Lübeck and equipped with a 3T research MR
scanner. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Psychology,
should be able to think in systematic, methodological terms and should have
a great interest in cognitive neuroscience. Additional programming skills
are helpful. The applicant has the possibility to obtain a PhD degree in
this position.
