If you are a new user, then I would suggest maybe using SPM2b as you won't
need to waste time learning about things that are SPM99 specific. If you
do use SPM2b, then there is a tool for converting DICOM files into a
form that SPM2b can use. If you also download the SPM2b patches, then the
converted images can also be used in SPM99.
As an alternative, you could send the full error message from SPM to the
list, and it may be possible to see more clearly what has gone wrong.
