Can anyone help me respond to the following reviewers comment which relates
to the type of standard error illustrated by the error bars in plots of
"contrasts of parameter estimates: effects of interest" in SPM (PET
analysis).
To quote from the reviewer:
"what sort of "standard error of the mean" is shown by the error bars? Since
this is repeated measures data it is not clear that the standard error over
subjects is relevant for statistical comparsisons. Was some correction made
to remove between subjects variance (cf Loftus and Masson, 1994)?"
