The F.C. Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging, Nijmegen, The
Netherlands, is organizing three intensive advanced fMRI/EEG/MEG courses in
February and March 2004.
TOOL-KIT OF COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE: in depth course on fMRI data-analysis
February 2 - 4, 2004, FCDC, Nijmegen, The Netherlands
http://www.kun.nl/fcdonders_agenda/secretariaat/courses/fMRI.pdf
This intensive three-day course will provide in-depth instruction
on the analysis of functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging data.
The focus will be on advanced statistical procedures, and new
developments in the field of fMRI data analysis. The course
involves lectures as well as hands on experience in advanced
techniques. There will be a lot of time for discussion, and
interaction with the lecturers. This course is accessible to anyone
who is fluent in basic fMRI data analysis.
TOOL-KIT OF COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE: in depth EEG/MEG course
March 1 - 3, 2004, FCDC, Nijmegen, The Netherlands
http://www.kun.nl/fcdonders_agenda/secretariaat/courses/MEG.pdf
The MEG and EEG systems will be demonstrated, however, the
main focus is on advanced data analysis. We will cover analysis of
event related and oscillatory activity. In addition we will cover
different source analysis approaches including beam-former
techniques (SAM) and dipole modeling. Next to lectures
participant will get hands-on training working with EEG and
MEG data sets.
TOOL-KIT OF COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE: in depth MRI course
March 11-13, 2004, FCDC, Nijmegen, The Netherlands
http://www.kun.nl/fcdonders_agenda/secretariaat/courses/MRI.pdf
An intensive three-day course on MR-imaging, its physics, and
the developments of new MR-based imaging methods. The
program includes Diffusion Tensor Imaging, perfusion,
multimodal imaging, and mechanisms and underlying
physiological changes of BOLD contrast.
