Observation duration (for single observations and number of counts)
Not many people do moving observer counts nowdays, so I would exclude
these in the first instance as there are a whole range of issues of
protocol that would need to be established - ie. speed, vector and
counting methods ...

Direction of flow,
Is it both pavements or one... if so which.
Categories of people observed - dress code, age, gender.
