The Royal Society Mullard Award lecture is being held here at the Society on Tuesday 9 December at 6.30pm.
The Mullard Award is awarded annually to younger scientists with an outstanding academic record in any area of natural science, engineering or technology and whose work is currently making a contribution to national prosperity in the UK.
This year's winner, Dr Henning Sirringhaus, founding director of Plastic Logic Ltd, has been recognised for his pioneering research into plastic semiconductors at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge. Dr Sirringhaus will be delivering a lecture entitled 'Can electronic circuits be printed like newspaper? a scientific and technological perspective' here at the Royal Society (6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AG).
No tickets are required for this events and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
