Vacancy - Schools outreach programme
The Enigma Project, a novel educational outreach programme, was launched in
January this year by the author and broadcaster, Simon Singh. The Project
uses secret codes and code breaking to engage students with Maths, Science
and History. The success of the Project has meant that we are now looking
for a new presenter to deliver 1-hour maths and science based workshops to
school children in the South East.
The work will be during school term time only; with approx 4 days a week in
schools and 1 day working from home. Previous teaching or sci com
experience is essential and candidates must be based in the Brighton and
Hove area with their own transport.
It is an ideal job for an ex-teacher hoping to get back into education
without having to compromise their holidays.
Salary is dependent on experience.
