6.30pm next thursday (9 October) at the Royal Society, Chris Toumazou, Professor of Circuits and Systems at Imperial College London, will be talking about some of the new electronics devices that are set to revolutionise medical diagnostics and therapy. He will show how using silicon technology, implanted microelectronics such as cochlear, retina and hearts are already able to enhance many biological functions.... and this is just the beginning.
This Clifford Paterson Lecture, forms part of a series of Prize Lectures managed by the Royal Society.
