A few years ago Thorpe Park had a science of roller coasters event for
National Science Week. Sadly this is all I remember so maybe not that
helpful! Although BA may have an old Science Week program that would have
it in - I imagine it would be either 2000 or 1999.

Subject: [PSCI-COM] rollercoasters?
Apologies for cross posting...
The Physics of Rollercoasters?
I've been approached by a South Wales school looking for a talk about
the forces involved in a visit to a theme park. Does anyone out there
give a demo lecture on this? It would be to a whole Year 9 group. They
are checking whether they have a budget to pay for it.
I'd like to develop something for them but they want it in early July
and I don't have the time before then. I know Alton Towers do great
Educational Resources but I think they want a pre-prepared talk rather
than workshop activities.
If you can help, contact me off list and I'll give you the school name
and number.
Thanks
Wendy
