SCIENCE COMMUNICATION PR MANAGER
c£30k per annum (depending on experience)
Ref NHM/SCPM
This is an important new post in the Communications team. You will be
responsible for promoting all aspects of the Museum’s science to policy
makers, opinion formers, the media and the public, through an integrated and
dynamic programme of media relations, marketing and advocacy. You will need
significant experience in press or marketing in a science field, with
experience of managing staff and budgets.
DARWIN CENTRE COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE
c£23k per annum (depending on experience)
Ref NHM/DCCE
Reporting to the Science Communication PR Manager, you will be responsible
for promoting the Darwin Centre and supporting the programme of science
communication. You will need at least three years’ press or marketing
experience, with good planning and organising ability.
For both posts, you should possess a degree, preferably in life or earth
sciences, and have a strong interest in these subjects. Experience of
campaigning or government relations work is also desirable. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with energy and
initiative.
