I am pleased to announce my haiku (below) was selected and published in the
57th Basho Festival Haiku Anthology. I have received a letter (dated,
11-20-03) and a copy of the anthology, from The Basho Memorial Museum, Ueno,
Japan, informing me of this honor which is shared by many wonderful and
remarkable people. I am deeply respectful for being among them. In the
spirit of haiku, I wish to express my gratitude to following haiku poets and
