American feminist icon, states. What Chodorow does is explain the thinking
of the British object relations school of which people like Winnicott are
examples. She is not being original, but she clarifies.
Of course at the moment I am reading Ridley/Pinker/Dawkins new books so
there will be a gene/environment interaction involved. Chodorow wrote
'Mothering' about 15 years ago. I found her latest book and it was
unreadable.
