piece. It really was a very brief hold-your-breath moment of slow-motion
reverence. 'Logndrífa' is a word I like, but it cannot be properly
translated into anything I know. As David Birchumshaw (I think) (or was it
Robin, or Frederick) suggested, 'drífa' is of the same root as the English
'drift', while 'logn' has nothing to do with the English 'long'. It means
'calm', more or less ...
Desperately trying to catch the tail of most everything here. These days are
