The secret unity of all poetry
Meanwhile
the Golden Age of the past
will not be realized in the future
until humanity,
as a whole,
feels the need of it.
This unity is a thing altogether different from the common notion of unity - poetry is one thing, not any collection of things linked together.
Fundamentally, there is one Poem with two aspects, positive and negative.
Enflame the Great and the small:
circles are only limited by consciousness
there is no dead space.
With this verse commences an interpolation which was still more terrible than the former
And I saw a terrible thing
In the great fire .. was there
Poetry is the microcosm. As the poet is so, then all the societies of the all of the poets who exist and have existed within all languages are within this same poet.
This Poem is a manifestation of the being. The black and white joining.
There is nothing outside of the poem while there is nothing within the poem.
This is the resting-places of those have denied the land of the spirits?
It were better had they not been born
when the secrets of the just shall be
located entirely in the mind of
the beholder
This unity is a thing altogether different from the common notion of unity - poetry is one thing, not any collection of things linked together. Fundamentally, there is one Poem with two aspects, positive and negative.
The positive is Spirit or Muse, the white, the perception.
The negative is substance, the black, the subject of perception.
The page is composed through electrons then soy ink
printed upon paper. All poetry happens within the mind perceiving art.
Every last word is alive / true / never able to pin down what is intent or meant. It cannot be otherwise, since every word's usage is itself fundamental, or call it what you like, the spaces in which meanings and elementals disport themselves like salmon in streams. The common idea shows every word of utterance, no matter of what making, to be in itself understandable.
But in truth there is neither Macrocosm nor Microcosm but poet writing poem.
