War
We don't need any more poems about war.
It's a big bore.
War's sufferings have nothing to teach us,
except to hope they won't reach us.
What soldiers die for is to feed the fat,
and where's that at?
So my advice is: in time of war, you cheer
from the rear.
Whoever gains by all that fuss,
if we're dead it won't be us.
