I enjoyed the poem, too, but I wonder if Pound ever went that far, even
with the Vorticists, & remembering that Wyndham Lewis was a painter as well
as writer, that Pounbd's sense of 'luminous details, usually inlcuded great
works of art, that one of his greatest young artists was the sculptor,
Gaidier-Brzeska. Perhaps they were against the symboliste take on
paintings? Looking for a way to make it new even in that interaction?
