Good Lordie, Al:
>your no doubt unconscious admission that I was the subject of the poem on
the muse<
believe me, nothing of the sort was on my mind, in fact no individual woman
is the subject of the poem. Let me fully explain its background, I was
interested in writing something about psychological breakdown while at the
same time this clairvoyant I know was telling me (not as a result of paid
consultation) that a woman was unconsciously attacking me on the 'astral
plane'. Which was what was wrong with me. A surprising piece of information
that, not the kind of thing you get at the doctors!!, he reckoned that the
woman didn't realise the effect of her powers and had no malice but was
doing this unawares. Well I thought I could employ that donnee in a poem,
he'd told me to weave a protective spell anyhow!
As for references to my anonymous friend, I believe they have all been
related to self-interrogations in these here parts and never hurtful in
tone.
Hope you are feeling less beleaguered.

David, you know I perfectly well I am referring to your inisistent
posts on the anonymous "woman friend", despite my being on the list,
and despite you knowing very well that my feelings that private
issues have nothing to do with petc, as well as your no doubt
unconscious admission that I was the subject of the poem on the muse.
If I observed another list member being referred to in that way
despite him or her obviously finding it unwelcome, I would think of
that as harrassment.
I obviously have no wish to adjudicate on this, there being a clear
conflict of interest as far as I am concerned. But I also do not see
why I should be the subject of such unwelcome posts, even if I am a
list owner.
