This is just the same attitude that I pointed out in regard to your post on the 20 year old woman that 'you had encouraged' to speak.' This is a deeply sexist view, this idea that you speak for all of these women ("link into how they feel,") that your work is such a trigger rather than the promptings of their own being, as if their work were a confirmation of you in some way.
