Hi Chris,
I think ozemail *is* one, if not the only, problem. I have an old address I
still keep active which is with them and it's through that address I get most
(not all but most) of my spam - which amounts to at least 100 a day if not
more. I have a mail program that picks up junk mail and its about 95 per cent
effiecient so it doesn't bother me hugely. And when I'm using web mail, it's
with another ISP, ihug, so the ozemail crap never shows up. ihug has its
problems but it's level of spam is minor and bearable.
I think Anny is right. If you have an email address on the web it can get
harvested. But I think having a sound ISP is also a factor.
Cheers,
Jill
