Not having introduced myself I should explain that I am primarily a reader
rather than a writer of poetry. I do though occasionally make what might be
verse. Below is a short piece (and all my attempts are short) dating back to
1977 during the one and fortunately brief spell of unemployment in my adult
life. I include it because it seems akin to the Snapshots project.
Work
He should neither love nor hate me
Visibly. A prim pink slip to bridge
Our singularities. I do not speak
I write: I am stamped and signed
Unemployed for the week.
