I, stupidly, went to the cricket that day. 44.1degrees. And i sat in the sun. -J.

I had to go down to the shops yesterday afternoon, so I got in the
shower with my clothes on and walked down to the supermarket (10
minutes). I was dry by the time I arrived. I thought of going to
the movies too - the Two Towers is nice and long - but we couldn't
agree on what to see, and besides, the journey to the city was too
much to contemplate... so the major fun was hanging out by the frozen
food section -

"Garden" is a rather grand term for my pot plants. There is a very
brown and spiky "lawn"; we have, in an environmentally friendly way,
let it follow its own course. Yes, no lack of sun here - I'd like to
share it around, it's too much like economic disparity for my liking,
2 per cent of the world having 90 per cent of the sunshine... though
I guess that, unlike money, there's more of it these days.
