As a matter of interest I received a catalogue in the post this weekend from
Maplin they had something similar in it at a rock bottom price of £29.99. I
have no idea if it is as accurate but it works on similar principles I
think. If you want more details look at www.maplin.co.uk the product code
is N14AQ

Akbal

Hi Tim,

We have recently purchased 2 LASERTrace digital thermomoters from Baileys at
£500 plus VAT 17.5%.

These have already proven to be useful in clinical teaching and diagnosis
clinics in addition to the obvious use in diabetes clinics...

Tim,

I have in our department a BioBeam 660, a narrow-Band Low-Level Light
Treatment System. I think it is infra red, and is supposed to be used for
ulcers and post-op wounds.

I have never used it and don't really know how to! Is this what you mean?
I can look through our past orders and check out where we bought it from, or
would consider selling ours as it is not used.

Cheers,
Hannah

Has anyone had any experience in using infrared dermal thermometry
equipment? Where do you purchase partic. in Australia and also how much do
they cost.
Thank you for any assistance.
