James' comment is a bit baffling. By more risk (real risk)? is he
assuming therefore that we need more injury or death? Why might this
be defensible or desirable? I'm pretty sure James didn't mean this,
but care with words will help us be more astute about what outdoor ed
is actually contributing to education. Challenges in tasks relevant
to students might be what he meant.
