PROFESSOR IN OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT (A151)
LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER IN OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT (A152)
The Department of Management Science has two posts available and is seeking senior and junior appointments to contribute to the Department's teaching and research in the field of Operations Management.
The Management Science Department is part of the 6* Lancaster University Management School. LUMS is one of only 2 Management Schools to be top-rated in all the last three RAEs. The Department has a worldwide reputation as an international centre of excellence and includes research groups in various areas of Operational Research and Operations Management. The latter includes staff active in manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics and e-business.
Applicants for both posts should be research active. The Professor (A151) will be suitably qualified to lead research and teaching developments in Operations Management. The level of appointment for the other post (A152) will depend on experience: a PhD, or one nearing completion, is expected.
