Just a thought!
If we are so concerned about the potential for incorrect dispensing of
medicines, ought we not to consider the example from other fields where
accuracy is essential and have a system where there is one person dispensers
and someone else checks?
This is common practice in some critical engineering situations, for
example. It would seem to me to be an essential where life is potentially at
stake. I, for one, would feel happier as a patient, if I were confident that
my medication was being checked in this way.
