Hi,
We have an audiometry frequency schedule of yearly, 2 yearly and 4 yearly. The frequency is based on the outcome of their Job Type Noise Dosimetry (personal exposure)and is reviewed every 5 years or whenever process, plant or job-profiles change.
Below is a breakdown of the frequency.
* < 80 dB(A): no audiogram
* 80-90 dB(A):once every four years
* 90-95 dB(A):once every two years
* > 95 dB(A): at least yearly
It is much of a risk based. Besides the frequency above we do follow up on employees with suspected NIHL on a 6 monthly and yearly basis.

Subject: Surveillence
Advise please on best practise I have spoken to HSE who tell me that time
scale for any health surveillence is down to me based on risk assesment .
Audiomerty has been carried out for past 3 years annualy where no change is
apparent I want to go to 3 yearly testing all employees are wearing
protection following noise level recording.
Lung function tests are done following same pattern on all people wearing
respirators I want to do the same there.
I need to sell this to the business so would appreciate some key points.
Thanks in anticipation
