We paper screen all night staff & then see anyone who wants to be seen -
especially people who are on long term medication which could affect their
ability to do the role or their health when working nights (e.g. people with
Gastric Ulcers/ Diabetes/ Mental Health probelms etc. This tends to cut down
on the amount of people who are actually seen as in our experience many
night staff work nights out of necessity rather than choice and do not wish
to change
But I too feel it is a 'paper exercise'
