WHITLEY COUNCIL NURSE GRADE G: Salary £22,420 - £26,385 p.a. with a discretionary range to £27,275 p.a.
The University of Oxford provides comprehensive occupational health advice to University staff, postgraduate students, some undergraduate students, academic visitors, and some external organisations, covering a wide range of occupational activities and environments, and offering varied and interesting occupational health experience. Applications are invited for the full-time (37.5 hour) post of Occupational Health Adviser to work in this busy, interesting, and rapidly evolving department. This position would suit an NMC recognised specialist practitioner in occupational health who has previous experience as an adviser, and who wishes a demanding and varied environment in which to further their career and occupational health experience. The post requires the ability to work both as part of a team, and occasionally alone, and you must be able to communicate with a wide range of people, whilst exercising tact, discretion and diplomacy. It is desirable that you are computer literate, with a working knowledge of 'Microsoft Office'. Experience of travel medicine and/or vaccinations would be an advantage but is not essential.
