I wonder if anyone can advise me,
An employee who has submitted a grievence against the company is due to
meet with HR and their manager tomorrow with a union rep.
I was invoved in their return to work program following an injury.
The letter from the union rep to HR regarding tomorrows meeting has
requested among other things that her Occ Health records and any reports be
made available.
Do I need to get their writen consent to allow them to look at their
OH records?
If the induvidual choses to show them to the union rep, HR etc is this
ok?
Do I give them photocopies of the notes or the originals?
Do you recommend I am present whilst they are viewed? (I'd prefer to
keep out of it really)
If they wish to photocopy anything is this reasonable?
I am just a little unsure, as I have never had a request like this before.
Many thanks
