I usually hit reply to all, but I do miss seeing peoples response to
queries, as thats what its really all about, sharing the answers rather than
the questions!!!

I agree. I'll vote for 'Reply to list" to be the default option though
Lorenzo's suggestion might be the best option if most have this feature on
their e-mailer.

Does anyone else miss seeing the answers to the various queries that used to
get sent to this message forum? I can see why the system was changed, as it
did mean on occasion you could get bombarded with a 1001 emails about a
topic of no interest to yourself, but one of the reasons I've found this
"service" so useful in the past was being able to read the replies about the
practices and experiences of peers around the country. I know it is still
possible to send your reply to a query back to the general list, but it
seems that not many people do this, choosing instead to reply direct to the
individual who posed the question. I just wondered if anyone else missed
this aspect of the service, or do people prefer it now you don't get all the
replies?
