<<Benefits_ evidence.doc>> There is an NHS Executive paper addressing this
issue http://www.doh.gov.uk/pdfs/nhscounsellingservices.pdf.
I attach a summary of evidence I put together when proposing (successfully)
that College set up a staff counselling service (in our situation, with an
external EAP provider)

Subject: counselling for staff
Hi,
I am reviewing the provision of independant counselling for our staff, and
was wondering if anyone knows of any guidance on how many counselling hours
/ staff might be recommended.(we have around 7,000) ..or any other helpful
comments would be gratefully received
with thanks,
Christine
