I do search extensivley online, and have a vast collection of fragments of
theory/ taxonomy, and of interesting and inspiring papers, but.... still I
think perhaps I am looking in the wrong places.
Can you let me have any particularly useful addresses?

hi all,
With all due respect to the knowledge of all of you: why is it that
people ignore the theory and criticism that has happened online
for years in discussions like this one?
I have noticed that more and more people seem to want to refer ONLY to
print publications. This is of course due to the growing number of
relatively new people who deal with new media art criticism and
curating etc., but why should even new media veterans succumb to this
neglect of our heritage? Whenever I write a text or prepare a lecture
I roam the mailinglist archives for instance, or I check the back
issues of Switch. I think this discussion is a bit too gloomy.
highest regards,
J
