Lectureship in Geophysics
The Research School of Earth Sciences at UCL-Birkbeck aims to appoint
a Lecturer in solid-earth Geophysics from 1 October 2003, to be held
jointly in the Earth Science Departments at UCL and Birkbeck College.
We welcome applications from active and innovative researchers
working in any aspect of solid-earth Geophysics, but particularly
encourage applicants who are interested in developing new areas of
collaborative research in seismology, seismotectonics, or seismic hazard
assessment. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to
undergraduate teaching programmes in the two departments.
Salary will be on the Lecturer A/B scale £22,191-£33,679 per annum plus
£2,134 London Weighting per annum.
