I would be grateful if you could bring the following to the attention of any
UK or EU students interested in following a research degree in gas-phase
spectroscopy.
PhD Studentship in Gas-Phase Spectroscopy
School of Chemistry, University of Exeter, UK
Supervisor: Professor Tony Legon
A PhD studentship is available from 1 October 2003 (or earlier by arrangement)
for research in the area of intermolecular complexes that are held together by
hydrogen bonds, halogen bonds or other weak binding. The complexes are to be
characterised by rotational spectroscopy as observed by a pulsed-jet,
Fourier-transform spectrometer.
The studentship is funded jointly by the EPSRC and the University of Exeter
and is available to UK and EU citizens only.
