Please note: Oneandone do not allow you to forward to another domain just to
another web page address. So in the future if you set up a "proper" domain,
not with oneandone, you cannot direct your domain name to it! I already got
caught with oneandone like this. They want to sell you there hosting
package. I now host and sell domain names at bearawebdesign.com and am
hosting for the Allihies mining museum among many others. This is not meant
to be blatant advertising but if any member are interested please contact
me.

Adrian -
Most domain name registrars these days provide free web forwarding (and
email forwarding for that matter). This means that you can sign up for any
webspace deal - and use the registrar's web forwarding service to attach
your domain name to it. You can even set up multiple websites in the same
web space if you want. This is exactly what I've done with
www.mining-heritage.com - which is actually hosted at
http://home.btconnect.com/SiliconDale/heritage/ and the NAMHO site
www.namho.org which is on
http://home.btconnect.com/SiliconDale/namho/
If you reggister domain names through your ISP you probably are paying
several times over the odds for them, as well as being unlikely to have this
free web-forwarding service.
