To answer a question from a friend I would be interested to learn if anyone
on this list has any knowledge or photographs of Cleworth Hall Colliery,
Tyldesley, Lancashire.
I believe it closed c1964 but my friend is particularly trying to identify
what machinery was employed, especially the steam engine(s) and what photos
might exist.
Presumably the vesting records are in the PRO at Kew but, again, if anyone
can provide any pointers to a useful contact that would also be appreciated.
